bio
Valentina Asadova was born in 1987 in Tynda, Amur Region, Russia.
Graduated from the Institute of Design and Applied Arts in St. Petersburg. Works as a graphic designer by profession.
She paints most of her free time, finding in this a way for personal growth.
From childhood, Valentina was attracted by the idea of touching the unknown,
and a great influence on creativity had an acquaintance with the methods of analytical psychology CG Jung.
The paradoxical nature of the psyche and the binarity of archetypal forces are the subjects of research in artistic work.
A certain minimalism of the atmosphere is due to the abundance of black, which acts as the main medium, symbolizing the nature of the unknown, from which the most bizarre fantasies are born.
The themes of creativity are symbols of the inner psychic space.
The appeal to the spiritual realms gives my paintings a surreal iconographic character. The picture personifies the flight of the spirit, which carries thoughts and mind deep into the depths.
